Q & A

Looking for advice on a hot tub. We have never owned one before but would like a 4-person tub that will be room enough for 4 adults. I assume that more jets are better. What are some of the good quality brands I could find under $15,000?
Robert K.

Hi Robert
Thank you for reaching out, this is a great question. I have sold quite a few different brands and can tell you for sure that more jets do not necessarily mean a better experience- hot tubs with excessive jets, especially those lesser known, lesser quality tubs suffer from poor jet placement and weak water pressure, on the flip side, a big energy bill. In a quality tub, the number of jets is usually dictated by the tub size and number of pumps. Brands like Hot Spring, Bullfrog, Sundance and Caldera are all reputable brands, and they have a few in your price range. Let’s chat a bit more about this, I believe I can help you save quite a bit on any of those brands. I’ll leave you my number, give me a call.

I’m looking for a hot tub with the salt system, I have looked at a few. The Cal spa has a salt system, and the tub is in our price range $12,500. I really liked the Caldera Tarino, but it’s out of our price range if we include the salt. I tried to talk the sales guy down, but they wanted to sell me on financing, and I can’t do that. What do you think, should I just go with the Cal spa, do you have any suggestions?
Carol

Hi Carol
Thank you for writing in, this is such a common happening…these guys should be able to negotiate a fair price with you. The Caldera Tarino is not far off in price, I think I can help you get what you want and at a fair price. I’ll give you my phone number, call me and we can chat about what your options are.

My wife and I are looking at purchasing a Bull Frog, the A7. I did the research the dealer, they have great reviews so no problem there. We looked at a few other brands, and we have a friend with the Sundance Chelsea, but we like the A7 the best. What are your thoughts on the Bull Frog brand?
Micheal L

Hi Micheal,
Thank you for the question. Bull Frog is a reputable brand. They made more room inside the tub by placing the filter behind the jet pack, usually you have a filter taking up another seat. The Chelsea is a quality tub as well, but I personally don’t like the low seats. I say if you and your wife like the 7A and are happy with the dealer and price, then go for it. Reach out anytime should you have more questions and or need my assistance.

We are looking at purchasing a swim spa, mostly so the kids would have something to splash around in and the hubby and I will work out, not really to swim. What are your thoughts on the X500 Endless and the 14AX Hydropool? The Hydro pool has a lower price tag, but from what the salesman said, Endless has been around for much longer and have a better warranty.
Minni

Hi Mini
Thank you for reaching out, this is a great question. Your salesman is correct in that Endless has been around longer and does have a better warranty. Now this doesn’t mean that Hydropool is a lesser quality. The Hydropool is deeper and wider which will accommodate taller people, and it does have 4 very comfortable hydrotherapy seats. Hydropool also has thermal shield insulation system like Endless, that keeps heat inside the cabinet, helping to keep that energy bill down. However, Hydropool does have a vent, allowing the heat to escape so the components don’t overheat during those hot summer months. Other than knowing the dealer is reliable, I would recommend trying out both the Hydropool and Endless before you make the purchase. Let me know how it goes, and as always should you have other questions and or need my assistance, feel free to reach out.
